Born Global İstanbul Application and Prize Evaluation Processes
Entrepreneurs may apply to Pitching with products and process development or improvement works either they are presented to market or not.
Pitching applications can be made through the online registration part of the website, www.registration.turkiyeinovasyonhaftasi.com , through the entrepreneur profile. During application, one should click “I want to participate Pitching” option to be able to be registered. If an approval e-mail does not follow the registration, one should get approval by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Entrepreneur should have a prototype or commercialized project.
- Online application should be made via http://registration.turkiyeinovasyonhaftasi.com/#
- Application is free of charge.
Candidate Entrepreneurs applications for Pitching that are gathered from the online system will be evaluated by Born Global İstanbul Award Evaluation Board through scoring on the system. 60 national, 60 international finalist will be idenfied as finalist entrepreneurs which have the highest scores.
120 idenfied finalist will be invited via e-mail to make a presentation at the Pitching Stage and they will be announced from the event website.
Pitching Entrepreneurs list will be created as 1 permanent 1 alternate candidates.
- Business idea should involve high added-value.
- Business idea should be competitive with its innovative and unique structure.
- Quality of the entrepreneur should be high and compatible with the business idea.
- Business idea and model should be suitable to be commercialized and scaled.
- The market of the business idea should have the sufficient extent.
- Business idea and model should be suitable to export and foreign expansion.
- Business idea should have potential of attracting investment.
The Right to Participate the Pitching
60 national and 60 international entrepreneurs, which have the highest scores through Pitching Preliminary Consideration, will have the right to participate to the Pitching.
A template will be send to Pitching finalists, which are selected by Pitching Evaluation Board, and entrepreneurs should send back the templates within the duration declared at Process Calendar.
Selected entrepreneurs will be awarded at the Main stage at 9th December 2017.

The Right to Open a Stand
Within the context of the event 200 free stands are reserved for national/international entrepreneurs. There will be an evaluation by the evaluation criteria for the entrepreneurs that have applied for a stand and selected entepreneurs will be informed by an e-mail and be announced on the event website. A list of 1 permanent 1 alternate candidate again will be formed and the finalist entrepreneurs of Pitching will have the priority.

The information and documents that are presented to attendants during the evaluation process of the applications to Born Global İstanbul are accepted as “commercial classified information” or “restricted data” belonged to the Association and one shall not share this information or any part of this information, with any third parties. These information and documents are out of the context of 9-10-2003 dated and 4982 numbered Right to Information Act.
The information on the award-winning application documents, may be published only by permission of the Born global İstanbul Award Evaluation Board.
Protection of the intellectual property right of the candidate product/process for awards is on the responsibility of the related institutions.
